Family photos should feel more like a playdate than picture day.

 

Finding the right family photographer can feel…stressful. MAJORLY stressful. You want photos that actually look like your family (not stiff poses and fake smiles). But then you start worrying...What if the kids don’t cooperate? What if the photographer doesn’t know how to handle the family reunion chaos? What if we spend the whole session stressing and walk away with photos we don’t even love?


That’s where I come in. Hi, I’m Isabelle! Part photographer, part chaos-coordinator, and full-time fun-bringer. I know how to roll with meltdowns, sneak out real smiles, and keep sessions light so you can actually enjoy the time together. Instead of worrying if we “got the shot,” you’ll be too busy laughing, playing, and connecting with your favorite people.


Your only job? Show up, love on your family, and let me handle the rest. I’ll make sure you walk away with photos that feel joyful, genuine, and completely you.

What should we wear for our family session?

I always recommend choosing outfits that feel comfortable and you. Neutrals and soft colors photograph beautifully, but adding pops of color or layers can make your photos even more fun. Think coordinating, not matching (unless that's your thing!)—avoid identical outfits, and instead pick a color palette that flows together. Don’t worry, I’m only an email or text away to help you pick out the best fits!

Where can our session take place? Do you help us choose a location?

Yes! I provide a full location guide with my favorite spots around the Colorado Springs area and will recommend the perfect setting based on your family’s vibe whether that's outside or local right at in your home! We’ll make sure the location feels right for you —scenic mountain backdrop, a colorful downtown spot, or a cozy field where your kids can run around.

What if my kids have a meltdown during the session?

Honestly? It happens (and it’s totally okay!). I roll with it—sometimes those in-between moments turn out to be the sweetest photos. I’ll keep things light and playful, and we can always take a break if needed. Pro time—always bring treats and snacks for the littles (no judging if you need a bite too!). My goal is to make sure the experience feels fun, not forced, for everyone.

Do you photograph family reunions?

Yes, absolutely! Family reunions are such a special time to have everyone together in one place, and they deserve to be documented. I’ll capture the big group photos, smaller family combinations, and plenty of candid moments in between so you can focus on enjoying your time together while knowing the memories are being preserved.
